Craig Belfor started moving pianos for Sherman Clay, a local piano dealer, in 1967, while still in high school. In 1968, he started working for the local National Van lines agent in San Rafael. Then in 1981, when that agent closed the business, he started Belfor Moving, and got a National Van Lines agency contract. With a 45 year association with National Van lines, over 30 years as a prime agent, he’s the oldest mover in Novato and has seen the industry grow and change in many ways. In his spare time, Craig enjoys woodworking and spending with with his family which includes three grandchildren.
As Craig’s son, Alex has been a part of the business since he can remember; moving since he was 15 years old. With a BA in Film from UC- Santa Barbara, Alex spent 10 years in Los Angeles moving set pieces (sometimes extremely valuable) on television shows, films and in and out of warehouses and trucks. Alex knows how to pack and move everything with care. He’s trained in the IGC software estimating tool using MS Surface to give customers an accurate estimate. He is also a member of the PropMasters Union Local 44. In his spare time, Alex enjoys working on his graphic novel and spending with with his family.
Sal has been a part of the Belfor moving team for over 8 years. Prior to moving, Sal worked as a chef. He often acts as the crew chief and is a master-mind of loading trucks. He treats his work with care and detail. In his spare time, he enjoys taking trips to Disney with his wife and two children
